Chana Raiskin brings a unique blend of cultural insight, analytical skills, and project management expertise to H&A as the HR Manager. A graduate of Indiana University Bloomington (2009) with a Bachelor’s in Arts and Science in Anthropology, Chana has a global perspective shaped by her travels to over 10 countries, including Turkey, England, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Poland, Mexico, Venezuela, and Canada. These international experiences have enhanced her ability to understand and manage diverse teams, fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace.
Certified as an HR Generalist, Chana has honed her skills in administration and project coordination and is a strategic partner in organizational decisions. Her professional experience includes 11 years working for expediting companies in the NY area, where she managed paperwork and assisted in obtaining city approvals for construction projects.
In her role at H&A, Chana excels in managing employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and training programs. She ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Chana’s responsibilities also include conducting performance reviews, facilitating professional development opportunities, and implementing HR policies that align with the company’s goals and values. Her global travels and cultural insights significantly contribute to her effectiveness in handling the human aspects of her role, enabling her to connect with employees from diverse backgrounds and create a more cohesive and engaged workforce.
