With 15 years of construction experience, Gavin Heinke brings a unique blend of hands-on expertise and management savvy to his role as Assistant Director of Construction. His extensive background spans residential remodels, multi-family complex renovations, and commercial projects, with a focus on entrepreneurial ventures. Gavin’s adaptability and leadership skills have enabled him to excel in various roles, from tech advisor and carpentry apprentice to project manager, estimator, and site supervisor.
Notable projects include the City of South Bend’s winter amnesty shelter for the homeless, as well as work for prominent local clients such as judges, public officials, and business owners. Gavin’s leadership experience includes coordinating crews of up to 50 and implementing construction plans from concept to completion. His skills extend beyond construction expertise to include problem-solving, communication, de-escalation, and customer service.
As an Eagle Scout and outdoors enthusiast, Gavin brings a strong work ethic and dedication to his work. His commitment to delivering high-quality results has earned him recognition in the industry, including media coverage for his work on the South Bend winter amnesty shelter.
